The thing that got me into photography and ultimately led me to where I am today was BMX. I always had a little point and shoot with me as I was growing up, snapping away on a Kodak Brownie 110 camera but when I turned 18 and started University I received my first student load. Needless to say that within an hour i’d spent it all in my mind and I knew that one thing I wanted to get was a proper camera and there it started with my first SLR, a Minolta X300 and a 50mm 1.8. A fully manual beast that had me wondering for a long time why my photos weren’t coming out how I wanted them. However roll on a few years and it looks like i’ve sorted all that out.
At the moment im working round the clock and haven’t had much time to be on the blog on here, also the fact that a lot of the projects im involved in right now don’t let me post up any of the images until the client has done what they need with them first. So below is the first opportunity in about 3 weeks that i’ve had to shoot something for myself. I was out on the bike last weekend with my good friend Tom Bright who is also a very talented rider and lucky for me he was up for taking a few snaps. Here is just one of the photos that we got but it’s something both Tom and I had wanted to shoot for a while, I hope you like the result.
